其內(nèi)部采用定軸齒輪二級傳動(dòng)，屬于老產(chǎn)品，但用途最廣泛，與減速機(jī)相比較，具有占地小、重量輕、外觀整齊、效率高，在粉塵大、潮濕漏水泥濘的惡劣條件下仍能正常工作等優(yōu)點(diǎn)。
隨著電動(dòng)滾筒的不斷革新與技術(shù)進(jìn)步，根據(jù)需要也可以制造成三級減速(0.08-0.63米/秒之間的低帶速)，以滿足用戶之需要。
